Is noteroll free?
Yes. Free accounts include notes, rooms, search, Ask AI and export, plus 100 MB of image storage.
Who can read my notes?
Only you. You sign in with Google, and your notes are stored with access rules that limit them to your account.
Does it work offline?
Yes. Your recent notes are available offline, and notes you write without a connection sync when you're back online.
Is my data sent to an AI?
Only if you turn on Ask AI, and only when you ask a question. You bring your own Gemini, Anthropic or OpenAI key, and the notes relevant to your question go straight from your browser to that provider. Images are never sent.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes. noteroll runs in any modern browser on desktop and mobile, and you can install it to your home screen.
Can I take my notes with me?
Yes. Export all your notes from Settings, and delete your account whenever you want.
